Autism Ontario, a charitable organization founded in 1973, has been advocating for and supporting autistic individuals across the province for over 50 years. On April 2, 2025, the organization will host a flag-raising ceremony at City Hall as part of its "Fly the Flag" campaign for World Autism Day. This initiative encourages communities to show support for autistic individuals by raising the autism flag and recognizing the day through official proclamations. The Celebrate the Spectrum campaign promotes awareness, inclusion, and action toward a more supportive and accessible Ontario. More information, including flag purchases and resources, can be found at Celebrate the Spectrum.
