Drop in to The Homestead and follow Early North American trades historian and Journeyman Joiner, Peter Hudson's progress as he builds a flax break and saw horse this summer. Visit us with your tools on Saturdays, June 7 and 14 for drop-in tool sharpening demonstrations!

Heritage Stained Glass Windows with Mackenzie Campbell

Visitors can watch the The Brown Homestead's Mackenzie Campbell while she works on one of her stained glass window commissions -- a Victorian-style window designed for a front door. Watch Mackenzie's process of cutting, fitting and leading the glass, and learn about traditional stained glass techniques.
