• A Family History workbook to take you through the workshop and worksheets to help you practice and learn.
• A Family History starter kit with archival resources. 
• Resources for getting started and one-on-one advice on how to manage and finish your unqiue projects.
• Tour of the St. Catharines Museum archives and collection vaults.
• Lunch and refreshements.

Workshop topics include:

• Project management.
• How to use and access family history research tools like Ancestry and MyHeritage.
• How to access and use the local history research materials available at local institutions.
• How to decide what to keep and let go.
• How to organize and preserve family photographs and archival materials.
• How to care for family heirlooms 
• How to record family stories and oral histories interviews.  
• How to package your stories for family and friends.
