The Niagara Irish Music Festival in partnership with the St. Catharines Museum and with the support of the St. Catharines Heritage Advisory Committee, the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee, is please to unveil the latest installation of the Global Famine Way. The GFW is a heritage trail originating in Strokestown, Ireland and follows the pathways of the survivors of the Great Famine as they and their descendants left Ireland and settled throughout the world, including in St. Catharines.
The unvieling ceremony will begin at 6pm and include performances of traditional Irish tunes by local musicians from the festival.
